A gift link is for one occasion: the employee picks from the collection you chose and enters their own address, with no account to create. Wallet funds add dollars to the employee’s Givenly wallet, on a birthday, an anniversary or a schedule, to spend in your company store on branded gear or gifts from the catalog.
No. Nothing is charged when a gift link goes out. You pay when the employee redeems it, and unclaimed gifts cost you nothing. Links expire after the number of days you set (30 by default), with reminders along the way.
Yes. Employees enter their own shipping address, wherever they work. Teammates in the US, Canada and 25+ other countries can choose gifts that ship where they live, Givenly handles duties and customs, and every gift page has a translate button.
Yes. Anyone you allow can send a gift link to one person or a whole team in a few clicks. For everyday thank-yous, Recognition Central lets coworkers recognize each other with real dollars attached.

Yes. The email and the gift page carry your logo, your colors and your message, with a photo, GIF or video if you like. It reads as a gift from your company, not from a vendor.
In the US, gifts to employees are generally taxable income, with two common exceptions. Occasional small non-cash gifts, like a holiday treat, can be tax-free de minimis benefits, but cash and gift cards are always taxable. Length-of-service and safety awards of tangible items can be excluded up to $400 per employee per year ($1,600 under a qualified award plan). This isn’t tax advice: check with your accountant or payroll provider.
