Givenly
Inside Recognition Central

One platform. Everywhere your team already is.

The same Recognition Central on a desktop at HQ and a phone on the floor — one feed, one set of budgets, one dashboard. No separate app for the frontline to forget about.

Recognition to reward

One platform. Recognition to reward, all under one roof.

Six things that used to be six tools — built into the Givenly platform, configured with you, owned by HR, and loved by the frontline employees who finally have a place where they're seen.

Recognition Feed Social Board

Peer-to-peer praise anyone can give, alongside spotlight stories, milestones, and company announcements. Public, threaded, and mobile-first — the social hub your company never had.

AI Assisted Recognition

AI drafts the shoutout in your company's voice, tags the value it lives up to, and attaches the award. Smart prompts nudge managers and peers to recognize the right person at the right time.

Company Bounties and Contests

Post a challenge, set the reward, watch your team play. Simple, parlay, and accumulated formats with a live leaderboard and mobile submissions straight from the field.

Manager Recognition Quotas

Company, team, and personal balances side by side. Fund a team and its manager spends against it — inside a per-recognition cap and an approval threshold you set once. Recognition runs on a rhythm, not on someone remembering.

20,000+ Global Gifts & Rewards

The largest premium reward catalog in employee engagement — gifts, experiences, branded merchandise, and Gift of Choice, where recipients pick their own. Points in, real rewards out.

One ROI Recognition Dashboard

Thirteen widgets covering participation, sentiment, top recognizers, dollars-out, and budget spend by team. The number your board asks for, defended with data and exportable from day one.

The engagement gap

The recognition problem you inherited.

You bought a recognition tool. Adoption stalled at 30%. Your CEO wants the engagement scores up by Q4. Sound familiar?

80%

of your workforce is deskless

Most recognition tools are built for desk workers. The frontline never logs in — and never gets recognized.

more likely to quit without it

Employees who don't feel recognized in the first 90 days leave within a year. You feel that math in your turnover line.

$0

defensible ROI from legacy tools

Your board wants the culture number. Your tool gives you a usage dashboard. Those are not the same thing.

Recognition Central tablet view — peer-to-peer recognitions with point awards, company values, and reactions
Feature 01 — Company Social Feed

Make your organization social.

Slack channels are noisy. Email gets deleted. The break-room bulletin board is forgotten. Recognition Central is the social hub your company never had — a single place where wins, shoutouts, milestones, and announcements live, and where your team actually engages.

  • Spotlight Stories at the top — birthdays, work anniversaries, recent wins front and center
  • Public feed with reactions, threaded comments, and @mentions
  • Bulletin board for company-wide announcements that don't get buried in email
  • Conversations, not broadcasts — one post becomes a team thread, not a silent ❤️
  • Mobile-native composer so the frontline posts from the field, not just HQ
Feature 02 — AI-Assisted Recognition

Recognition that writes itself.

Recognition dies when it's a blank text box on a Tuesday afternoon. Givenly's AI-assisted composer drafts the message, tags the company value, and attaches the right point award — your team just hits send. Easy. Fun. And impossible to forget.

  • Shoutouts — public peer-to-peer recognition with an AI co-writer that drafts in your company's voice
  • Peer-to-Peer Wallet — attach an award to any shoutout, drawn from the sender's own recognition balance
  • Company Core Values — every recognition tagged to a value (Innovation, Integrity, Teamwork — your taxonomy)
  • Dashboard tracking — see which values are being lived, by whom, in which teams, in real time
  • Slack & Microsoft Teams — shoutouts cross-post to the channels your team already lives in
Recognition Central AI-assisted composer — write a shoutout, tag a company value, attach points from your Peer-to-Peer Wallet
Feature 03 — Recognition Budgets

Give your managers something to give.

A recognition program doesn't go quiet because people stopped caring. It goes quiet because the manager who saw the work had nothing to hand out — ask one what they're allowed to spend and you'll get a shrug, then an email to HR. Fund a team's budget and the manager just spends it, inside a per-recognition cap and an approval threshold you set once. Managers get a number. Finance gets a ceiling.

  • Team budgets — fund a team's balance and its manager spends against it. The budget sits with the person who saw the work, not in an HR queue.
  • Three balances, side by side — company, team, and personal sit together in the top bar. The number lives in the app chrome, not buried in a policy doc.
  • Maximum Amount — cap the largest recognition any one user can send in a single transaction.
  • Approval Threshold — set a dollar amount. Anything at or above it routes to a manager for approval before it posts. Everything below just goes.
  • Set once, in the Configuration tab — Program Settings holds the recognition rules, amounts, and budget for your company, beside your values, role permissions, and the Public Feed and Leaderboard toggles. Employees, departments, and managers sync from your HRIS, so the teams your budgets hang off stay current.

Bounty Board · Recognition Central
Recognition Central Bounty Board — Simple, Parlay, and Accumulated bounty challenges live for the team
Feature 04 — Bounties

HR challenges your team actually plays.

Bounties turn culture into a game. Post a challenge — Safety Streak, Customer Win, NPS 9+, anything you'd want repeated — set the reward, and watch your team go. Gamified, public, and fun.

  • Simple — one challenge, one reward, first to win wins
  • Parlay — stack wins in a streak, bigger streak earns the bigger payoff
  • Accumulated — every action earns points, hit the milestone, claim the prize
  • Gamified everywhere — live leaderboard, mobile submissions with photos, per-bounty approvers, full audit trail
Engagement Dashboard with KPI cards, values distribution, champions board, department-by-value matrix
Feature 05 — Engagement Dashboard

The number you bring to the board.

Thirteen widgets, one screen, every cut HR actually needs. Participation rate, sentiment trend, top recognizers, dollars-out, redemption velocity, recognition-by-value.

  • Department, team, and individual roll-ups
  • Time-series for every metric — show culture moving, not just sitting
  • Exportable to CSV / PDF for board decks
  • Configurable per-tenant — show the cuts your culture lead cares about
  • Budget spend by team — dollars-out rolled up the same way participation is
Feature 06 — Mobile-first

Built for the 80% who never check email.

Frontline employees don't sit at desks — and a tool they can't open in 5 seconds is a tool they don't use. Recognition Central looks and feels like the apps they already use.

  • Bottom tab bar — feels like a native app, not a responsive web page
  • Full-screen compose flow with camera-roll photo upload
  • Push-notification-ready (PWA + native wrapper in roadmap)
  • Tables collapse to cards — no horizontal scrolling on a phone
Mobile view of Recognition Central feed
Feature 07 — AI Co-Pilot

The engagement analyst your team doesn't have.

AI is built into every surface of Recognition Central — suggesting who deserves recognition, drafting bounty copy, and surfacing engagement risks before they hit retention.

  • Write with AI — drafts recognition copy from a one-line prompt so the frontline can post in seconds
  • Recognition Gap surfacing — flags employees who haven't been recognized in 30 days, so the gap shows up while there's still budget to close it
  • Bounty drafting — AI proposes challenge descriptions, success criteria, and tiered reward structures
  • Engagement risk alerts — sentiment trends and value-coverage gaps surface in the dashboard before they show in turnover
20,000+ gifts & experiences.
The largest premium reward catalog in employee engagement. Because recognition that ends with a thumbs-up isn't recognition — it's a memo.
How it works

Live in a week. No IT lift.

We configure Recognition Central with you. HR owns it, and there's no engineering work on your side. Three steps, one Configuration tab.

1

We configure it with you

One session with our team sets your company values, the company and team budgets, the Maximum Amount any single recognition can carry, the Approval Threshold above which a manager signs off, and which features each role can access — HRIS and SSO connections included. All from one Configuration tab.

2

Launch

Roll out to everyone or to a pilot team. Invitations, mobile onboarding, and the first bounty go out together. Most customers ship within five business days.

3

Measure

Watch the dashboard fill up. Export the participation and sentiment numbers to your next board update. Iterate the bounty calendar quarterly.

FAQ

Questions HR leaders ask before signing.

How is this different from the legacy recognition tool we already have?

Legacy tools were built for desk workers and treat recognition as a top-down email blast. Recognition Central is mobile-first, peer-to-peer, gamified through Bounties, and connected to the rewards your employees actually redeem. The Engagement Dashboard turns culture into a number you can show your CEO.

Can we set recognition quotas for managers?

Some teams call these quotas — in Givenly they're recognition budgets. You fund a team's balance and its manager spends against it, alongside the company balance and each employee's personal balance; all three sit side by side in the top bar. In the Configuration tab you set the Maximum Amount any single recognition can carry, and the Approval Threshold above which a recognition routes to a manager before it posts. One thing to be clear about: a budget is a spending allowance, not a required minimum — there's no rule forcing anyone to hit a number.

How do we see whether managers are actually using their budget?

Two places. The Engagement Dashboard rolls dollars-out up by department, team, and individual, next to participation and sentiment. And inside Recognition Central, My Stats shows each person's Given vs. Received totals and their giving streak, while the Leaderboard carries a Top Point Givers view you can filter by month or all-time — so recognition given is as visible as recognition received.

Does a budget mean every recognition needs approval?

No — approval is threshold-based, not blanket. You set a dollar amount in Program Settings; recognitions at or above it require manager approval before posting, and everything below posts straight to the feed. You also set a Maximum Amount, the largest recognition any one user can send in a single transaction, so the ceiling holds without putting a reviewer in front of every thank-you.

How long does implementation take?

Most customers are live within five business days. You'll do one configuration session with our team (values, approval workflow, point budget) and then we launch to a pilot group. No engineering work on your side.

What does it cost?

Recognition Central is part of the Givenly platform — pricing is per-employee per-month, with the reward budget on top (you fund whatever amount fits your program). We'll size a proposal during the demo.

How does it integrate with our HRIS / SSO?

SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning are standard. We sync employees, departments, and managers from your HRIS so the org structure stays current without manual upkeep.

Is it secure? We have SOC2 / GDPR / data-residency requirements.

Givenly is SOC2 Type II, GDPR-aligned, and supports US data residency. Recognition data is tenant-isolated; no employee data leaves your environment without explicit configuration. We'll send the full security packet on request.

Can we white-label it for our brand?

Yes — Recognition Central uses the same Brand-on-Demand engine that powers our company-store product. Your logo, palette, and from-name appear on every email, page, and mobile screen.
